[Free] Thursday Morning Expresso Shot of Encouragement

Thursday is one of those midweek days. We itch for Friday. We anticipate the weekend.

So to help you through the day today, meditate on the words of David found in Psalm 18:1-3, 28, 35: “I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. For You will enlighten my darkness. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, your gentleness has made me great.”

We have to remember that the struggles and stresses of the day are merely temporary. A piece of the fall as it were. What seems to challenge us today, yes, highlights our frailty as humans, but respectively illuminates the power of our Creator. And it is through trials we face every day that strengthen our ability to move forward. I heard it summed this way, “Where was faith, without trial to test it; or patience, with nothing to bear; or experience without tribulation to develop it?”

Embrace the light load God has allowed you to carry. Our King, our Deliverer is at our side, ruling the realms with His feet up!

So, add a spring to your step and rejoice! For this is the day that the Lord has made.

And do not forget to smile! http://youtu.be/9jyCfRHumHU
